Motorola MC55

Kameranya 2MP autofocus masih ditambahi lampu kilat. Ada fasilitas GPS, pemutar MP3/AAC, namun tanpa radio FM.

This particular phone first caught my attention because it didn't look like a mobile phone at all. It looked more like a satellite phone or some advanced walkie-talkie. However, after using it, it turned out that this
phone was really a mobile phone. Lets take a look at the Motorola MC55. The Motorola MC55, has, like I said, a very uncommon design. It is one of the few phones that still have something like an antenna sticking out of it's top. The phone is a rather large phone that measures 152 x 77 x 27mm. Pretty thick right? The phone is also quite heavy at 340g. The phone comes with a full QWERTY keypad and a whole lot of other buttons. You'll definitely have a tough time if you haven't used a phone like this before. Nevertheless, if you take your time learning the controls, you will get used to it. The phone is also drop and freeze resistant.

The Motorola MC55 comes with a touchscreen. It is a 240 x 320 pixel screen capable of displaying 65k colors. That is quite expected. Most touch screens have that color display capability. You will find that the touchscreen is quite responsive. Being a touch screen, Motorola has ensured that the phone's screen is quite scratch resistant. The screen can be used in all lighting conditions. Finding compatible images and games won't be a problem.

If you want internet, the Motorola MC55 has GPRS and EDGE internet connection options. The internet speed is fast enough for most basic uses, such as viewing emails and chatting. Even some internet based phone applications can run smoothly. However, if you have a WiFi network, you are in luck because this phone can connect to WiFi networks. The built-in browser is good enough for web page viewing. To transfer data, you can use Bluetooth or USB.
